Message from the Director
IUHW Mita Hospital has contributed greatly to a community since 2005 after its establishment as the third hospital affiliated with International University of Health and Welfare. It was accredited as "Tokyo-designated Cancer Treatment Hospital" in 2008 and many patients from all over Japan are visiting us to have high standard medical service.
In February 2012, we started afresh with the new building which has 291 beds with 11 floors after more than 2 years construction work. It has elegant and stylish appearance which is suitable for the prime district with historic temples, parks, embassies, universities and so on. It also has good level of amenity which makes it possible for patients to have comfortable medical care. In addition, it is built with quake-absorbing (seismically isolated) structure with 72 hours emergency power system. I hope this will contribute to the local community in case of emergency.
Every member of IUHW Mita Hospital sincerely deliver high standard medical service as well as warm and comfortable service based on patient-orientated principle, aiming at operating as one of the key hospital in the local community as well as one of the key hospital in cancer treatment in the country.
